I've been a big fan of Mani ratnam's movies ever since I saw Nayakan, way back when I was a kid and knew no Tamil. So I always look forward to his movies and except for an odd 'Dil Se' which ironically means from the heart, all his movies have touched my heart. Yuva was one such movie an inspiring tale with a brilliant message conveyed via a riveting screenplay. It was a little disappointing, when it failed to create the sort of impact anticipated. But may be I was wrong. It seems Yuva has inspired a group of IITians to take up the dirty job of cleaning up the Indian political system and thirty of them will be contesting in the forthcoming UP elections.Read the full story on times of india here.
