The Interview

Well, for a change I was on the other side of the table (not really .. it was telephonic). I had to interview someone for a position in my team. Its really funny.... but very true. It almost takes the same amount of preparation to be the oppressor as it takes to be the victim :)

Unfortunately the guy didn't fare well and we had to turn him down. Though I have been at the receiving end many-a-times before, it was the first time I had to disappoint someone. It was a bit sad especially since the position was onsite and he would have been really desperate to get there.

Well... It wasn't to be and I guess there's probably a more lucrative opening just around the corner for this guy...!!!!!
