I have FC3 working great on my dell inspiron 600m laptop. But then, I still spend a lot of my time on winXP. Primarily coz I haven't yet managed to get the suspend/hibernate feature working in FC3. Its really irritating to have to turn your laptop off everytime and personally I think hibernate is one must-have feature for laptops. And ofcourse I still have a lot of data on windows which I plan to move to the linux side soon.I can't just wait to move entirely to my fav OS. I just love linux... simply coz it lets me keep exploring and learning new things... apart from all its known merits.
Thats when I heard good things about the new happening linux flavor "Ubuntu". Apparantly it comes with the hibernate feature as part of its kernel. Well I ordered for an installation from their website and received it sometime last week. The CD set also had a live CD version and from what I saw.. it looks to be pretty good.
